He doesn’t delight in empty rituals but in lives transformed by justice, mercy, and humility. Psalm 51 reminds us that God desires a broken spirit—a heart that truly repents and seeks Him. Micah further calls us to “act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God.” Worship starts with authenticity and a lifestyle that reflects God’s priorities.

In Colossians, we’re reminded that worship includes teaching, singing, and living lives full of gratitude.

Jesus reminds us that where our treasure is, there our heart will be also. If our hearts are set on worldly things, as 1 John warns, our worship becomes divided. God calls us to focus our affections on Him, the only One who can truly satisfy.

Acts of service are powerful expressions of worship that reflect God’s heart.

Hebrews reminds us to offer continual praise and do good—these are sacrifices that bring joy to God. Psalm 100 captures the essence of worship: entering His presence with thanksgiving and joyful hearts. True worship exalts God and points others to Him.
